This week, I want to talk to you about one of the most important building blocks you need to live a great life. YOUR BLISS. Some people think bliss is the same as HAPPINESS, JOY, ELATION, and others. But those are emotions, and bliss is not. BLISS is a TRANSCENDENT STATE OF BEING fed by emotions. Pay close attention as I tell you what the differences are. You must be more MINDFUL than ever and PROTECT AND PRESERVE YOUR BLISS in every way you can. Here’s how… …Discover the PURPOSE AND MEANING of your life. Bliss helps you understand the overarching WHY of your time on Earth. Bliss is a long-term way of thinking that rises above all temporary emotions. …Weigh your RELATIONSHIPS carefully. Do not allow those who rob you of your bliss to have a place in your life. Reduce or eliminate completely those that no longer serve you well. …Think about who and what things ROB you of your bliss. Write them down. Now do the same for people and activities that ADD to your bliss. Write them down. The physical act of writing helps cement them into your consciousness. Now consciously work to eliminate things that rob you of your bliss and take actions to make more time in your life for things that add to your bliss. Put in the work toward finding your BLISS. And when you find it, protect your BLISS. It is a GIFT OF KINDNESS to the person who matters most in the world. The most BLISSFUL version of YOU.

So many of us right now in our lives are experiencing a whole set of emotions.

Whether it be worry, angst, anger, fear, frustration,

or even be happiness, could even be a little bit of joy.

But what I would wish for you is bliss.

Because bliss is not actually an emotion.

It's actually a state of being.

And it's not contingent on external stuff in order to feel it,

in order to experience, in order to live in it.

So I'm known for using the word bliss.

And people will ask me all the time.

Ed is happiness and bliss.

Are they the same thing?

And they're really not.

Because happiness in most cases is a temporary state.

And it's based on external circumstances.
