Yesterday, BuzzFeed went public and promptly saw its valuation fall off a cliff.

It is now looking decidedly short of the cash it needs if it's going to be able to grow and thrive.

Then, today, the National Labor Relations Board came down hard on another publisher,

Gannett, which publishes a whole bunch of newspapers across the country, including USA Today.

Gannett is accused of union busting.

It has apparently been interrogating employees about their union activities.
