It was a weird sensation as we returned to the courtroom to read the verdict.

There were three additional sheriffs deputies standing behind, Pierre Romain at the defense

table.

Now for weeks we'd been sitting in the Jerry Pox across from a man who was presumed innocent,

and now we shared the room with a murderer.

I never thought of him as a killer until the verdict was decided, and it was actually

quite eerie.

I couldn't sleep that night.

Those are the words of a juror who sat on the Jay Clark murder case.
