On August 13, 2018, a woman and her two children were found dead in Colorado.

And her grieving husband, the only surviving family member of the Watts family, had a sick

story to tell that cast a horrible shadow over his dead wife.

Christopher Lee Watts and his wife Shannon met in 2010 and were married two years later in

their home state of North Carolina. By 2015, the Watts had two daughters, Bella and Celeste,

and were living in a five-bedroom home in Frederick, Colorado. Christopher was working for a petroleum company, while Shannon was an

independent representative of an MLM company. Things seemed to be going well for the couple,

and by 2018, Shannon was in the beginning stages of pregnancy

with their third child.

Of course, there were some problems,

but they had a growing family
