Would you find your Bible please and turn with me in the Old Testament to the Psalms?

I'm going to take you to a Psalm in this hour that I would like to study with you all day

today. So in this hour, in the morning service, in the evening hour, I hope you'll be here for all three

because all the parts make the whole. And it is a Psalm, frankly, that I have spent very little time in through the

years. I've never preached from it. And I've been studying it the last few days for the nourishment of

my own soul, and I want to study it with you. It's Psalm 110 in your Bible. There are certain

Psalms that stand out, Psalm 1, Psalm 23, Psalm 119 is probably one of my favorites.

Aren't you glad I'm not preaching Psalm 119 today?

This particular Psalm, Psalm 110, is only seven verses long, but it is powerful.

It is amazing how much God can say in a few words.

It's a Psalm of David. We're going to read the whole Psalm because I'm going to start at the end. So we're going to read from verse

one down through verse number seven and I'll bring you to a little jumping off place for this

Bible study hour. David wrote, the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies

thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion, rule thou in the midst of

thine enemies, thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power,

in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning. Thou hast the due of thy youth. The Lord has
