Turn with me again to the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

And we're coming now to Revelation chapter number five.

Now, there's only 14 verses here, but I'm going to camp in it for the next three nights.

And we'll begin it this evening.

We'll return to it tomorrow evening. We'll conclude with it on Tuesday evening. And I want

you to do your best to be here for all three evening meetings. I know what tomorrow is. Talk

to me, class. What's tomorrow? Yeah, you all sound very excited about it too. It's Monday.

And I understand, you know, work and school and obligations and traffic and life is crazy, but I'm going to ask you to make an extra effort to be here.

I'm going to ask you to do something else. I'm going to ask you to read Revelation 5 before you

come to the meeting tomorrow evening. And if some of you say,

well, I'm going to get a jumpstart and go ahead and read it all now. It doesn't count if you read

it in this building, all right? You have to read on your own time. But devotionally, with your

family, I want you to read the Word of God, and I want you to try to really give some attention

to it because I am

convinced that a glimpse of Christ is what we all desperately need. See, that's what the word

revelation means. It means to take the veil away. You get up in the morning, one of the first things you do, you open the blinds,

you pull the curtains, you let a little light in. Isn't that right? Well, this is what the Holy Spirit

is doing for us, the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit in Scripture. He's taking the veil away,

taking the veil away, taking the veil away, taking the veil away, till finally you come to the last

book of the Bible, the revelation of Jesus Christ, and Jesus is here. Let me just show you
