As most of us know by now, a lot of Los Angeles is on fire and it's been an insane thing to watch,

especially as a Los Angeles resident, as fires pop up all over the city.

Now, luckily, I live in a place that has not been directly impacted, but I'm hearing story after story of those who have been impacted.

They've lost their livelihoods, entire blocks in their neighborhood, their schools, their communities, family members.

It's just been absolutely insane to witness.

But what's been even more insane is the people online who are celebrating this happening.

And they're celebrating it because they feel like those who have been impacted by this disaster

deserve it. Why? Because they're celebrities or they have a lot of money or because of their political opinions.

And I have a message for those people. Maybe we need to chill out. Maybe we need to exercise some

empathy. And maybe we need to reinvigorate our sense of humanity. Let's talk about it.
