I really want to set the intention as to why Francesco, his family and I decided to be

public about what was going on with Francesco, why we didn't just keep it to ourselves, why

didn't we just go missing off of social media while everything was happening because we

could have very much done this.

We were not sure what we wanted to do at first.

He didn't just get like very, very sick and we're like, got to tell TikTok, it was a big

decision.

It was like, hey, do we just kind of go missing off social media and when he gets cured

we'll come back and we'll pretend like nothing happened.

We didn't just go through the worst year of our life.

We just needed a little vacation and just move on or do we just tell the truth?

Like I don't know what the right answer is.

I mean, both sounds scary, right?

Because we're all the most vulnerable we've ever been in our life.

It doesn't get worse than this.

So to show up to the world and say, hey, we're the weakest we ever been is scary.

And for Francesco was scared, I was scared even his family was scared.

It's a big risk.

But you know what they say?

Everything happens for a reason.

This is one of those situations where you sit down and you're like, all right, well,

what's the reason?
