And we kick off with the fact that Raquel Welsh has died

at the ripe old age, as they call it now, of 82. Now I remember she came over to this country.

A, she married a Brit at some point in her career, but she appeared on the Wogan show, plugging her book. Now, the BBC were very

funny in those days about, you know, you could have the book there, but you couldn't hold it up to

the camera. That was a blatant plug. And the BBC were very funny about it. I remember when

Betty Davis came over, the legendary Betty Davis, and she was being interviewed by Wogan, and he very funny about it. I remember when Betty Davis came over, the legendary

rest of it. And she then, she said, when are we going to talk about my book? And she held it up
