Summary

Talking about depression can often feel taboo, which causes many to struggle and suffer in silence. There’s no complete “cure” for it, but God has given us certain tools to help find healing. In this final therapy session, we learn a practical and biblical approach to depression by recognizing what it is, what causes it, and how to combat it.

0:44.7	We're the last six weeks. We've been looking at a huge issue in
0:47.2	our culture right now. It was a huge issue before everything
0:51.5	happened with COVID, but specifically talking about mental
0:54.4	health and COVID and everything that is happening with the
0:57.4	lockdowns and challenges in society have only made that
1:01.8	worse. So we have been jumping in. If you have missed this series,
1:04.6	you can find all those on the porch out. We covered four weeks on
1:07.2	anxiety. We covered what it looks like to get healthy and do
1:09.4	with your baggage. And tonight we are launching into a really
1:12.7	big issue that I'm going to have Hayden Browning, who's on our
1:18.1	team. He's our worship leader is going to help. And let me set
1:21.8	up and frame it like this. My son is four years old and he
1:26.4	during COVID has mastered the art of using Alexa. So he will find a
1:30.4	song that he really likes and all day long he will drive his
1:33.2	mother insane by going up and saying Alexa played this song and he
1:36.9	hugged the same song play over and over and over again. One of
1:39.6	the songs we've been jamming to that most I feel like churches,
