There is beauty in the simplest things.

In this episode, Eckhart talks with an audience in Prague.

He explains what happens as we become more conscious.

We suddenly recognize our beingness in addition to the human aspect of ourselves.

He believes, once we are aware of this, clarity emerges because our mind is free of compulsive

thinking. He explains, we sense more deeply the aliveness of everything around us and experience

the sacredness of another person, a tree, a flower. Eckhart says, the secret of life is to

continue giving our fullest attention to whatever is in front of us.

He believes there's beauty and the simplest things when they are done consciously.

In the English language, you have to say human being. It doesn't have a single word that means both man and

woman. The German word is mensch. I don't know if in Czech you have a word for human being,

but in English you have to say human being. But the way I use it and interpret it is to say the human is the person, the conditioned entity.

The human is the ripple on the surface of the ocean. The human is you, your name, your gender, your body, your personal history. All that is the human

you. And most humans, for most humans, that's all they know. They only know that dimension. They

only know themselves as the person. They don't know the being. So they haven't become human beings yet in the way I use the term.

They are only human.

They haven't discovered the being out of which the human emerged.

They haven't discovered.

With this discovery, you become a human being.

The two dimensions suddenly come together.

The dimension of this dimension here, of forms and sense perceptions and time, past and future,

and something that we could call the transcendent dimension
