I was going to include a short discussion regarding the recent Adnan-Saiyad news, but I'm still

so enraged by the stupidity, willful ignorance, and corruption involved in freeing an obviously

guilty man that I'll have to refrain until which time I feel

capable of commenting without insulting a lot of people with very harsh words.

I can't even believe it but here we are. Anyhow let's do this. Now a couple of

episodes back we looked at the case of Tamilah horseford which occurred at a home near Lake Lanier,

which is perhaps two hours northwest of the one we're about to discuss.

The south, and especially this particular region, is full of these massive lakes or reservoirs, which are really man-made.

Eerily enough, at most of these locations, there are actually old towns beneath the surface or the

remnants of them as it was common to force people off their land in exchange for cash. People in such areas were often socioeconomically challenged

in a way that standing their ground was futile. They had to evacuate all they had ever known to accommodate these rising floodwaters caused by dams that would

submerge their land and displace the people. This was often done, among other reasons, for the purpose of

accommodating the growing needs of diverting water to cities like Atlanta. So for a

long time the rural folk were at the mercy of the city people who were erasing

the old way of life.

Of course, that's how the game works.
