My name's Mauds start and this week we visit a family from Norway called the

Petersons, who are gripping the helm and sailing through adventure after adventure on their

rescued rescue ship. This is the story of the Christiana Oslo, a remarkable ship, the smallest and

the oldest present at the Tall Ships Race in Lurwick, 2003, where I was invited on board to meet the family who stand at the helm of this mighty vessel.

This ship has been at the bottom of the North Sea for almost two years.

My brother and I, we were going to sail from southern Norway to London.

We sailed out from southern Norway and conditions were rough.

But, you know, Christiania being a rescue ship and so on we thought

we'd manage but we got a leak in a heavy wave and struggled for some four hours to pump her

and keep her afloat.

But she sank.

We were lifted off with helicopter, rescue helicopter,
