And here's a little tip for the shop you have charge your system to iron out the bugs.

The charges and operating pressures are a little different between those systems.

So if you take it to a shop, it's just charging it like they would a late model vehicle,

in a lot of cases you end up with too much refrigerant and you get reduced performance out of it,

higher operating pressures and reduced performance. But first up is another Rick. Rick Schmidt from NPD for the monthly Ask Rick's segment.
