Hi everyone and thank you for tuning in to the 531st episode of the Hollywood

reporters Awards Chatter Podcast.

I'm the host Scott Feinberg and this episode was recorded live in front of an audience

at the Boulder International Film Festival, where I sat down with the recipient of the

Festival's 2024 Career Achievement Award

for a career retrospective conversation.

He is a terrific actor who has shined on stage and screens big and small

in projects spanning the 1990 film Ghost through the 2012 or 2018 TV drama series

scandal through the film that will almost certainly win the Best Picture Oscar a few days

from now Oppenheimer.

He's also a gifted director, as has been evident for 25 years now, dating back to his feature

directorial debut, 1999's A Walk on the Moon, through his latest film,

2023's Ezra, which had its world premiere

at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival

and opened the 2024 Boulder International Film Festival just before we sat down.

He's only 63 so there will surely be plenty more achievement in his career,

but this event was a wonderful excuse to celebrate his wonderful work so far.
