With the release of Hurry Up tomorrow, the weekend's officially released his sixth studio album,

and it's been for the better part of 15 years that the weekend has been releasing some

of the best R&B records that the industry has to offer.

And with this new album, it marks the end of an era, it marks a new transition in what we

would see from the weekend, and now apparently

he's going by Abel, and we'll see what comes out of it, but Lou and I thought it would

be fitting to finally look at the weekend's top ten songs. So for you going into this episode,

Lou, what does it mean, right? Because he has a lengthy lengthy catalog he has a bunch of classics he has

number one iconic hits what were you looking for when crafting this list it was an interesting

list to have to crack just because usually when you make a list like this your thoughts always like

well this list is not going to be definite because this

artist is going to come out with more music. There's going to be more material that will make the

list, you know, be updated at some point. But what's cool about this list is that it'll probably

be pretty final just because the weekend's run as the weekend is complete. Like now we have every song that we can look at and pinpoint and, you know, pick and choose from.

But I will say this.

Obviously, we're doing this to celebrate the new album and it's a big moment.

But the same way that I feel like I made a mistake with the top 10 Travis Scott songs when I put modern

jam into the list prematurely.

I have a bit of, you know, skepticism with the finality of this list.

Oh, really?

A little bit, just because it's so early on, right?

I barely had time to age with some of these songs.
