Welcome back to NFR podcast. In today's episode, we're going to be taking you guys through the top 10 best unreleased hip hop songs of all time. And when it comes to unreleased songs, it's sort of like the black market of the music industry in the sense that it works on. And if you know you know basis and the more tapped in you are into that community, the more access

you have to more songs. And to be completely honest with you guys, we are not the most knowledgeable

when it comes to unreleased material because we do believe in accessing art that the artists are

intentionally putting out there for us to consume and by also doing that you're supporting the

artist directly but at the end of the day some of this music is just inescapable and I think that

it's respectable to listen to this music when you know that a certain song maybe will never see the

light of day because of a sample clearance issue or because it's from an older error of an artist that

you know will never surface as an official release.

So that's sort of the basis where I treat it, where I'm like, you know what, if this is not

a new leak where I could be sort of hurting the potential release of this song, I might as well

enjoy it, right?

Well, yeah, there's also artists that leak their own music on purpose to garner steam before release or to be able to gather reception before release.

That's always interesting.

I mean, look what's happening with Aidan Ross right now, right?

Where you're getting these snippets preview through his own stream.

And it's to be able to see fan reception and to have a ring off.

It's always been a part of marketing rollouts.

Artists have been doing it forever.

So I have some songs on here that were actually previewed at concerts by the artist themselves,

but they never got to see the light of day for, like you said, maybe sample or clearance

issues.

And I want to see this, at least for my list, since I'm not the most educated on the space,
