0:32.1	And so what we have down here is cleaning house.
0:38.9	Now, what Dave and I interpret cleaning house being is steps 4, 5, 6, and 7 that we're going to clean house.
0:46.5	So I'm going to start off by going back to the big book.
0:50.5	Therefore, we started upon, okay, wait a minute, that's not what I want to start, though our decision
0:56.3	was a vital and crucial step, and that means step three, it could have little permanent effect
1:03.3	unless at once.
1:05.0	And my AA sponsor said to me, what is it, Polly, about at once you don't get?
1:14.5	At once, followed by a strenuous effort to face and to be rid of the things in ourself,
1:21.7	which have been blocking us. Our liquor was but a symptom, so we had to get down to the causes and conditions.
1:30.1	So alcohol is just a symptom.
1:32.8	The disease is alcoholism.
1:35.7	Alcohol is what we do to change the way we feel.
1:40.5	Alcohol changes the way I feel.
1:43.9	Now I've removed the alcohol.
1:46.0	I've asked God to help me.
