and whether a bold new offer on house building could help turn the Tory fortunes around,

whether any party is willing to grasp the nettle on solving the country's housing crisis,

the journalist and commentator, John Oxley, and Millie Mitchell, senior researcher at the Centre for London.

So obviously last week we had the autumn statement, there was some modest measures in there to

kind of boost housing supply with investment on funding to tackle planning backlogs and that sort

of stuff.

Brandon, starting with you, obviously we didn't have a lot in the Conservative Party conference

on housing and that sort of stuff.

Did you want to see more in the autumn statement on trying to unblock those kind of housing

stuff, but also get building a bit more on both the kind of rental side, but also social housing as well.

Yes, it's a short answer.

I've been very frustrated for a period now.

I think we should be doing, and I would have liked to see not just the resolution on nutrients,

which I think would have been a good thing to do.

We were hoping to see in the King's speech. But also some indication of planning reforms has been talk about MPPF reform and further

ability to make the planning system a bit more efficient and effective. It just takes far too

long in this country now to go through planning process. That's bad for all types of developers.
