Coming up, we are going to hear from the author of a novel that imagines a world where the federal government offers

cash reparations to the descendants of enslaved people.

A lot of the conversation when you're talking about the racial wealth gap, it gets stuck in these

places that we can't seem to get beyond. And so I wanted the book to largely be about what

happens after. But first, it is our chance to sit back and relax from the week that was with two excellent humans.
