Hi everybody welcome back to the Be Therein Five Podcast. I'm Kate Kennedy, your host.

As we speak I am doing a quick preface from an airport lounge. I'm headed out of town for a

podcasting event that I'll share more about at a later date.

But for this week, I feel like last week was more cerebral.

This week I wanted to do what we do best here at the Be Thereon Five Podcasts,

which is to combine you know lukewarm takes about nostalgia with current events and

this week I brought back one of your favorites Caroline Moss you know I love a

moment when everybody comes together in anticipation of something and this week Mother Nature really gave us

something to talk about to quote Bonnie Wright where in many places throughout the country

people gathered in celebration, marveled in awe, as this

sky dimmed, you know, in the path of totality stretched across the country and I kind of love anything brings people together that's like kind of a

neutral event of something that's you know positive. There was getting up at 4 I. to watch Will and Kate's wedding back in the day,

or, you know, a cosmic event gives us a chance to step back from the chaos of day-to-day life and focus on the overwhelming thought that God we really are but a

spec on this floating rock that is earth. And sometimes it's hard to believe we all

subsist off of this like one giant star off in the distance.

The one responsible for never really giving me the base tan I so desired as I

burn my skin to a crisp but the local pool for most of my youth and the one I drew in the top

corner of every piece of paper as a child.

I say all this because I wanted to be a gal that was in on the moment. I wanted to have the foresight to order

ISO certif- Like, do you guys honestly weeks in advance think to bulk order ISO certified?

Eclipse classes? I mean, I was so impressed. But alas just like I
