Summary

Zach Friedley is a professional athlete who is changing the sport of trail running. When Zach runs he wears a prosthetic called a running blade.

If you haven't seen one a blade is lightweight and springy. It almost looks like a ski bent into the shape of an upside down question mark.

Zach tried a blade for the first time when he was in his 20s. He was at his prosthetist's office and as as soon as he put it on, he started running down the hallway.

That moment was a turning point, and Zach immediately set his sights on making the National Adaptive Running Team.
