I beat Roquan Smith here. The Bears and their first-over, their first-round pick, excuse me,

are kind of at an impasse. Matt Nagy called it kind of a stalemate today. This is kind of

unprecedented, though, this kind of a holdout given the reason for it. Right. I mean, we've seen rookies holdout before, obviously in the old contracts we did.

And last year, Joey Bosa held out, you know, really right up until the start of the regular season.

This is a little different because, you know, if a lot of times in holdouts, I can pick a side.

I can say, well, this side's being ridiculous, this other side.

I'm honestly not sure here, you know, because it's an interesting point in an avenue that's

never been driven before.

So we have the new helmet rule.

We have teams have always had the rights if players are suspended to void their guaranteed

money. If a guy gets a PD suspension are suspended to avoid their guaranteed money.

If a guy gets a PD suspension, for instance, his guaranteed money is voided.

Or he's arrested.

Basically, it's called failure to practice.

It means if you're not able to practice, your guaranteed money gets voided.

We've never dealt with this with this helmet issue.
