The college football calendar makes no sense.

Uh, that said, it makes no sense that we have essentially professional football operations

attached to a institution of higher learning that has its own calendar. And as these two things

come together, it's always been a awkward situation, and it's very awkward right now because how

the heck do you handle this transfer portal when kids need to enroll in school.

And that's the inherent log jam here.
