President Donald Trump has lashed out at Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and is calling for

his termination. His comments on social media come a day after the central bank chief

delivered a frank warning about the impact of Trump's tariffs on the economy.

The level of tariff increases announced so far is significantly larger than anticipated,

and the same is likely to be true of the economic effects, which will include higher inflation
