So we are just 24 hours, 24 hours out from the vice presidential debate, but already the

Harris Wall's campaign has chosen what it believes was the most important moment of that debate.

It's really rich for Democratic leaders to say that Donald Trump is a unique threat to democracy when he peacefully

be overpower. He is still saying unique threat to democracy when he peacefully

be over power.

He is still saying he didn't lose the election.

I would just add that.

Did he lose the 2020 election?

Tim, I'm focused on the future.

That is a damning non-answer.

America, I think you've got a really clear choice of who's going to honor that democracy and who's going to honor

Donald Trump. That was the Harris campaign's first ad after last night's

debate highlighting J.D. Vance's absurd claim that Donald Trump peacefully transferred power after the 2020 election

and Vance's refusal to admit that Trump lost.

Now if you watch the debate last night you would have seen Senator Vance trying to put a gloss of respectability on the Trump presidential campaign as Trump himself appears increasingly unhinged.

But that strategy to normalize the very weird and very extreme

Trump Vance platform.

That strategy sort of fell apart

when Vance was asked about his running mates failed attempt to

cling to power after the 2020 election. Now admittedly it is hard to defend Donald

Trump's actions in the 2020 post-election period. There are a lot of really bad data points there.

And today it sort of feels like the news gods watched last night's debate and saw
