Episode Description: It’s been a while since Truth’s Table has done a live event, so it was fitting for our first live recording to take place at the National Museum of African-American Music in Nashville, TN. In this episode, Ekemini and Christina sit down at the table with Dr. Rashawn Ray and Aloe Blacc at the event, “AIR Equity Initiative Pathways to Peace: Reimagining the Future of Public Safety for Youth and Communities.” We discuss racial equity, activism, and the need to dismantle systemic barriers so that Black children can thrive and dream. We also sat down with Dr. Terrance McNeil and Dr. Melissa Collins to discuss school safety from elementary school to the college classroom.
