We've been friends, Phyllis and I with he and Cheryl for what over 40 years.

And this is our text, our main text that we're using, 1 John 4 and 1.1.

They don't make Bibles for folks like us that use them.

They need to make a heavy-duty Bible.

First John 4 and 1st, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, or that word can be translated

test, or examine and test the spirits, whether they are of God.

Because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Now see, he says spirits, then he says prophet.

Why?

Because it's not just that a person says they're a prophet. What spirit are they speaking by?
