Yeah. We kind of based off of feedback and guys we mentioned yesterday, we wanted to kind of hit our first

bow kills. So going back to first stories and then you said your first one wasn't super interesting, but your second one was.

I don't hold you to it if you want to share the actual first, but yeah, I thought it would be kind of fun to turn that off.

But yeah, I thought it could be kind of fun to hit some of those early stories. So whether it's the very first or second, you said that might be a better story.

Totally up to you, but like what's one of those early Steve's spec moments with a bow in his hand and you know, getting arrow towards an animal?

Yeah, so my first bow kill was a cow elk. I think I was 19. Yeah, 19 years old.

I picked up a bow. No, I would have been 18 picked up. Yeah, picked up a bow and I turned 18.

And then that was my first hunting season. And it happened. Man, I remember just freaking.

We had, I was on my buddy that got me into it. You know, he'd been alkaning for first since he was like 12 and his dad did it and it's not something that we kind of.

And you know, just typical rifle weekend type family. And then when I was 18, got it about hunting. But the advice we had heard was like elk, you just got a high card.

You got to cover a lot of miles and and that's kind of how we hunted that whole season. I remember just we hunted our butts off.

Just hiking up and down the mountains more or less. Just, you know, like it was more a good example of going through the motions.

Like you were doing the work, but you actually like weren't taking on an extra 10% to like slow down and really hunt right like we were getting up early.

We're hiking on our butts off climbing up, you know, just but it wasn't there was not a lot of strategy about it.

Just trying to walk through a country and hope you stumbled into something you would stop and call for, you know, 30 seconds and Cal call or whatever.

I'm sure it sounded horrible. Nothing would happen. So you just keep hiking. And anyways, 100 butts up all season literally last very, very last evening, you know, September 30th.

It was just me and my dad and we had hiked up to the edge of this clear cut, got into some elk.

And basically it was, it was, I mean, it was basically a small cow. It wasn't a calf, but it was small cow. And somehow I had,

the elk grew up the hill and I sprinted up the hill to like catch him and get shot, you know, like just being stupid.

And then I got in between the herd and that cow. And then so the cow, the herd had already busted off at the cow.
