1:09.8	Pat joins us this afternoon, this evening, rather, to tell us about American volunteers from his home state of Tennessee who joined World War I before the rest of their country did and possibly another story or two.

1:38.6	This is a fun topic. This topic came about really in 2015. We had the kickoff in Nashville for the Tennessee Centennial Commemoration that ran on through 2019 when they finally, you know,
1:49.3	and I was fortunate enough to be asked to be one of the presenters at the Tennessee State Museum,
1:55.6	and this was my topic, which was, and I called it under foreign flags,
2:00.1	and it talked about Tennesseans who had
2:01.7	served in foreign armies during the Great War.
2:05.9	And, you know, it just kind of went on from there.
2:11.5	It's forced me, doing this, it's forced me to review this and get myself back up to speed on what I said back then.
