What's up? Welcome back to Barton and Bud. We are sitting here in the shadows, the aftermath of Halloween.

I am Barton Simmons. He is Bud Elliott's. If you thought Halloween was over on October 31st,

you have got another thing coming because here we are on November 11th as we record this.

And Bud, players, teams are getting COVID by the, by the bushel.

And the theory has been reported. It's actually been reported in at least one spot at

LSU. And I would say it's not unlikely that it is the, the reason for the

outbreaks and a few other spaces, but Halloween parties maybe to blame. You know, Barton,

if these guys had gone with just scarier costumes, they would have probably worn a mask, man.

But, right, you know, I know. We just talk about this on Sunday, you know,

like this is something that's going to be very hard. We know that coaches are trying to get these

guys to stay in protocol, but it's just hard, especially some of these teams seasons slip away

to have these guys stay in protocol.

And like stay, the term lockdown is a little aggressive, but you're not supposed to

go out to parties.

You're not supposed to be going out to bars.

You're supposed to be hanging around people who you know are compliant.

And it's just hard to do for a long period of time, right?

I mean, you know, especially if you're that age,

college age kids are not always the best at judging risk, you know, it's just one of those

things. Listen, I am, I am long removed from college. I'm a father of three. I've been locked down as have these college kids for the

most part relative to what they're used to for almost a, I mean, we're approaching a year.

I mean, it's been like eight months or something and I'm not doing anything. And I've got,
