Welcome into First Draft.

The only show that believes that there actually was football played this past weekend

because we were busy grinding the tape of Western Oregon and South Dakota State.

I'm Field Yates and the man that's been doing that for the past 40 plus years is of course

Mel Kuiper Jr. and Mel, the reason why we're watching this tape from all over the Missouri Valley Football Conference and

places like that is because today is the show in which we highlight players that

deserve more love because as you tell me all the time the draft does not end in

round one.

Now I think you look at day three is so important, so critical to what teams in terms of

building their personnel and their talent base and their depth field and that's what's

going to happen here. Some guys that slide through the cracks right

there's a deep position like wide receiver who gets lost in the shuffle a little bit

and who slides down maybe into that third fourth fifth round area and said boy he had second round ability.

Maybe it at times in some games look like a first round caliber talent.

Some of those guys are there we're going to talk about today. This is the part of

a year in the time of the year where I love to find those guys a

little underrated unheralded that could be stand-outs in the national football league.

And you are every single year finding more and more players for one reason or another slide through the cracks

as you just reference we are here to help find a couple of those players maybe give you
