Hi everyone I'm Brinay Brown and this is unlocking S. I fell in love with

podcasting back in 2008. It was intimate, raw and most importantly it gave me a

way to connect directly with you.

In 2020, I launched Unlocking S,

and for two years, we walked through some very, very tough times together.

We laughed, cried, I cussed too much, we fell down,

if it was my sister's falling, I laughed a lot.

We got back up, partially, and we're here.

And after taking a year hiatus unlocking us is back I've missed y'all and

I've missed the conversations.

Together we're gonna explore ideas stories experiences research books films music

anything that reflects the universal experiences of being human from the

bravest moments to the most broken-hearted.

Some episodes will be conversations with the people who are

teaching me, challenging me, confusing me, confusing me,

maybe even ticking me off a little bit.

And some days I'll just talk to you directly about what I'm learning

and how it's changing the way I think and the way I feel. We're going to do three or

four-part series every quarter so about 12 to 15 episodes a year and they'll drop on Wednesdays and now you can

find me wherever you normally listen to your podcasts. Here's the thing that hasn't

changed about my work. I want to live, love, parent, and lead

with more courage and more heart.
