I was reading books and I heard about your podcast actually from my mom.

My mom is a doula who was there at our home birth, which was amazing.

It was so cool.

He was Dula Deborah.

And she was actually the one that was so supportive of a home birth.

Like I remember me expressing to her like I don't feel like I'm allowed to have a home birth for my first kid.

Like, shouldn't I have my first kid in a hospital so I know what to expect?

And she, I just remember her saying, you don't have to have an experience that you don't want

in order to have an experience that you do want. Like, you don't have to go through some kind of

possibly traumatic or, you know, just a hospital birth that you're want. Like you don't have to go through some kind of possibly traumatic or,

you know, just a hospital birth that you're not going to enjoy or what you don't want in order to

have like the home birth of your dreams. You don't have to experience it in order to experience it.

Getting pregnant and giving birth are two of the most exciting things you can ever hope to

experience in this life.
