I live in East Oakland, which is where the Black Panthers used to patrol the streets with guns looking for police who were harassing black people, which was very common in Oakland in the 1960s.

The Panthers did that until 1967 when Governor Ronald Reagan signed the Mulford Act, which was specifically directed at disarming the Black Panthers and anyone like them.

And ever since then, it has been near impossible to own a gun in big cities where most African Americans live.

That's all changing now.

The genie is out of the bottle.

Technology can't stop this anymore.

Now we can print our own guns on printers that cost only $200.

The people's time has come for providing for their own self-defense.

We all know, don't we, that the police will not protect us?
