and this is Black Girl Gone, a true crime podcast. On this episode,

episode, On this episode of Black Girl Gone, I tell the story of the Altador family who were brutally murdered in their home in Miramar, Florida in April 1997.

On April 30th, 1997, 29-year-old Marie Altador, her mother, 68-year-old Theresa Levern, and Marie's two daughters,

2-year-old Samantha and 6-week-old Sabrina, were home when her husband George left for work that morning.

But when George called to check on his family later that afternoon, he got no answer.

After calling several times and still getting no response, George asked his brother-in-law to go over to his home and check on his family.

But when the brother-in-law arrived at the Altador home and got no answer, he

entered the house and made a gruesome discovery. All four had been brutally murdered.

But 27 years after this sickening crime took place,

the person responsible is still free.
