25, 1966, Jerry Bricka, a 28-year-old chemical engineer,

got home from work, and he took his trash cans out to the curb.

Joan Jansen, who lived across the street, said hello to him,

and they exchanged some friendly small talk.

Then he went inside, and this was the last time that any member

of the Bricka family would be seen alive. Join us at the quiet end for Unsolved the Bricka family

murders. What happened to Jerry Bricka? His wife Linda and their four-year-old daughter Debbie

after Jerry went into his house that night, 57 years ago,

still remains a mystery. On September 27th, two days after Jerry was last seen,

the bodies of Jerry, Linda, and Debbie were discovered. All three had been stabbed to death,

and today we're discussing various theories of this case,

including the suggestion of a love triangle that ended in murder

and a possible connection to a friend of Lindas who was murdered that summer.

And we have a good Ohio beer for today's discussion.

This is Hop Riot from Jackie O's Brew Pub in Athens. It's an American

IPA coming in at 6.2% alcohol by volume. Pretty nice beer. It's a clear yellow colored beer,

a white head, a little bit of lacing, nice aroma of citrus and pine, and that's exactly how

it tastes, grapefruit some pine, a little spicy in the mouth., and that's exactly how it tastes, great fruits and pine.

A little spicy in the mouth, I think that's the rye coming through.
