Summary

On a cold evening in 1985, 2-year-old Crystal Robertson was found wandering outside of a K-Mart shopping center in Spanaway, Washington. She was 10 miles from her home and her parents were nowhere to be found. The assistant manager called the police and tried to ask her questions, but she wouldn’t answer. It was only later, once in the care of her grandmother that she would only say, “Mommy was in the trees.” The toddler was too young to explain what had happened after she had encountered a monster.
