I think Helen and I realized we were on a mission,

and I think we became very much a praying family.

We had always been a praying family,

but we'd had the good life in Australia,

and then over a two-week period it was

all taken away. Unsung Hero is based on a remarkable true story about having

faith against all odds. I look back now and think we were crazy. Who goes to the

other side of the world with six kids, a wife who's six months pregnant?

God's hope was so profound and so there for us in such challenging circumstances.

I hope that people apply that then to their life and go that same hope can be accessed by me and my family in my life.

So it'd be really easy to just assume these guys have everything, they have it all together,

what do they know, and then to hear your story you go oh there's

just something about hearing that people have suffered if they've gone through

trials that they had to work through and overcome.
