In our first conversation, we talked about a variety of folk in the young family. We also talked about

back with us. Yeah. And we are going to pick up this conversation now. I want to talk first,

Sandra, about people you have known who turned out

not to be quite who they seemed to be. And there are several people on this list, but the first

person I want to talk about is a person named Steve Mayfield or Stanfields. Tell us about him. Well, Stephen Mayfield is known around Salt Lake and the

Mormon history community as someone that shows up at Sunstone or different Mormon history events, taking

pictures. He's always doing photographs of everybody. And that's the way most people know him.

However, back in the, what would it have been, late 70s,

he had written to us under an assumed name when he lived out in California.

At the time, he was a file clerk for the FBI

and I think had aspirations of being James Bond or I don't know,

anyways, working for the FBI and having some cool job.

But so as a sideline, he started collecting photographs of people and files on different people involved
