Hey guys, I just wanted to provide a quick update regarding the issue that everyone experienced

on Spotify last week. So on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, actually I woke up to just a flurry

of messages, a lot going on. The feed had dropped off of Spotify. It was just nowhere to be found.

I had no idea what was going on.

It was on, yeah, it was just completely gone. Spotify had removed it from their platform entirely.

So I spent the day just scrambling, trying to get a hold of Spotify, figuring out what happened,

how it got removed, why it got removed. No need to go into all those details.

But I just, I wanted to provide a bit of an explanation and context because you guys really

rely on these sound machines. These are really important. I know sometimes it can feel silly

because it's just green noise or brown noise or a babbling brook, but they're really important.

And they become somewhat of a

habit for you to go to sleep to manage your anxiety to mask out noise of your neighbors or coworkers

it's important for you to have them and I take that responsibility of the content that I've

created that you've all integrated into your lives really seriously. I really do. And so I worked really

hard on Thursday to get a hold of Spotify. It was pretty tricky because of the holiday, they

weren't super responsive. But ultimately got a hold of them. I did not get, I just want to be totally

transparent, did not get a great actually really got no explanation on how it happened why it happened why they did that

um i got it back on like all of a sudden i just got an email that said it's been restored

you can find it now again on your feed um and i i do not know what happened i'm trying to follow up

and figure out um how to make sure that doesn't happen again on Spotify.

But I wanted to provide you guys with a few different mitigations if that ever does happen again.

I don't plan on it happening.
