the mid-October broadcast I wanted to do this

This show for a couple reasons because I know lately I've been doing like two shows a month perhaps though October will be slightly busier with yes the

grand total of perhaps three would you believe that three whole shows.

You know, you probably are going to get a couple extra broadcasts this month though,

which is fine by me and I hope you're fine with it as well.

But I wanted to... and I hope you're fine with it as well.

But I wanted to do this show, it's probably going to be a little shorter than the others, which is fine. We have some letters to read, but really I don't have much original discussion of my own

although the main reason why I wanted to do this show is to promote two very

important things that are coming up and then as always we will open up the mailbag

and we will see what awaits us right, first and foremost, coming up October 24th. Now those of you who follow the broadcast closely may remember this from August and July.

Usually it's July and August, but I've remembered the one in August 1st, so there's that.

But during those two months, I did two special broadcasts, purely for the fun of it. There was no occasion, there was no reason.

It's honestly just for the fun of it. That's why.

But I did two special broadcasts for listeners in Europe, where I had this great big 300 kilowatt short wave transmitter in Austria and I broadcast my show on the short wave for listeners in Europe, it reached other parts of the world too,

and listeners without radios who were able to tune in online.

Now maybe you remember that, but obviously the costs were very prohibitive because that sort of airtime does not come cheap.

But I was very glad I was able to do that again in August and in July. Now there was not a

broadcast like that in September and that was because of availability

issues it just wasn't able to happen.

And seeing that there were some concerns extending into October as well,

but the demand was still there.
