The five national parks that call it home, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, are revered for their geologic

wonders, rich history, and stunning views, all of which have made the state a popular destination

for travelers, of course.

Zion National Park alone welcomed nearly 5 million visitors in 2023, making it the third

most visited national park in the country more than Yellowstone more than

Rocky Mountain more than Yosemite. Still the stunning landscape of Utah goes

far beyond the mighty five. A wealth of national monuments, historic parks, recreation areas,

and trails can be found within its borders and in the southeastern corner of the state since

one unit that receives barely over 100,000 visitors per year.
