On today's episode, I'm joined by Dr.

Angelich Kumar. She is a board certified urologist in New York City,

specializing in surgical and non-surgical treatments for recurrent urinary tract

infections, bladder leakage, vaginal laxicity,

interstitial cystitis, bladder pain, and other general urologic conditions

such as kidney stones and bladder tumors.

After graduating with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine, she spent five years

training in urologic surgery at NYU Langone.

She is the founder of the private medical practice women's urology in York and is a clinical

instructor of urology at Mount Sinai Hospital. Do you mind introducing yourself as a starter?

Sure. I'm Angelish Kumar. I'm a urologist. I specialize in female

urology and I see women who have all kinds of bladder issues, whether it's leaking urine or recurrent

urinary tract infections or bladder pain.

So that's pretty much how I spend my day.

And so why did you choose urology?

Did you have like a personal reason why you?
