Most tell the tale of bravery, some of cowardice, some of laughter found in the moment of fear and pain.

Others, though, well, those stories tell things that simply cannot be explained. Whether it's the tale of soldiers,

creating a moment of peace and sharing a meal over Christmas, who are the soldier who predicted

not only his death, but the manner in which it takes

place. Those stories do rise to the front. Others, however, whether due to their own mystery

or the questions that yet rise fall away.

This is the tale of one such story, one that to this day has no good explanation,

told through the eyes of one witness to those events in his own fearful and confused words. The incident has long banned the stuff of legends.

The story seemed better fit to a short horror story than a real experience.

Yet it did happen.

That much is certain. What exactly happened, though, remains a mystery to this day.
