Now, let's get back to talking about Venus

in Kuzimi in Gemini on June 4th. Now what is this strange word Kuzimi. kazimi basically means in the heart of the sun.

And what it refers to is the period of time when Venus and the sun are at the exact same degree in the sky. Now as we've

spoken about before you probably already know what a conjunction is. A conjunction

is when two planets are in the same place at the same time in the sky,

but that doesn't necessarily mean they're at the same degree. It's only when a planet is at the same exact degree as the sun that you have

a kazimi. The easiest way to think of this is imagine an old school clock, one that still had hands on it.

Well, when the hour hand and the minute hand are in the same place, like for instance at 12 noon or 315 you can think of that as being a kazimi.

The planet and the sun need to be at the exact same degree.

If they're one degree off or a couple of degrees off. at the exact same degree.

If they're one degree off or a couple of degrees off,

that's a conjunction, but it's not a kazimi.

Now, what happens when a planet is kazimi?

When a planet is close to the sun, you can't see it.

This was very important in ancient times

because they would look up in the nighttime sky
