Hey, deserving listeners. Today's episode is about the new show on Netflix called Unbelievable.

0:05.9

In this episode, we're going to talk about the first episode mainly, because that's what I'm mainly

0:11.8

concerned about. We might spoil the rest of the season, kind of, but Unberto is here with us,

0:17.8

and he's only seen the first episode, and I also don't want to spoil it for people out there, because it is an interesting story. And mainly psychologically

0:24.8

and clinically, what I'm interested in is talking about the first episode, which isn't a

0:29.7

spoiler at all to hear about that prior to seeing the episode, in my view. In this episode,

0:35.4

we're going to be talking about rape and sexual assault. And if you are

0:41.3

triggered by such things, then I would proceed extremely cautiously. We're not going to be talking

0:45.5

about graphic details, because that's not the sort of show this is, but it's probably going to

0:50.9

dip a little bit into that. So just be really careful about that. Unbelievable is one of the hit TV shows that Netflix has put forth.

0:58.1

Rotten Tomatoes gives it 97%.

1:00.3

If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend it.

1:03.4

It sounds like a downer.

1:04.7

It sounds like a hard watch.

1:06.2

But it actually is extremely interesting, very compelling TV.

1:10.6

And the episodes, it has eight episodes, each about 45 minutes long.

1:15.2

And it's one of those bingeable things like Stranger Things, where you get to the end of the

1:19.9

episode and you just can't wait to watch the next episode.

1:23.1

You've got to find out what happens.

1:24.9

It's going to be one of those shows that's going to get Emmys, I'm guessing, because it's a TV show next year around. It'll definitely be nominated.

1:34.7

And so it's just going to be one of those shows. And I highly recommend watching it. And

1:38.7

we're going to talk about it on this show because it puts forth ideas that I've never seen depicted in a movie
