So we have kind of like a hodgepodge of different stories and just general anecdotes to talk about this week, Mayo.

There's not been a whole lot of news and we're still waiting on some news about maybe iOS 18.2.

But in the meantime, some smaller things and some personal stuff to talk about, I suppose.

Starting with Apple's holiday ad for 2024, this year focused on AirPods Pro 2 and the hearing

aid feature. So the video is called heartstrings and it shows a dad watching his daughter open up

her Christmas presents, including opening a guitar, and she starts to play the guitar, and then the audio

cuts out, and you're kind of presented with his perspective or he's heart of hearing.

Then the wife comes over and hands him his AirPods Pro 2.

He puts him on.

Hearing aid mode kicks in and then he can hear his daughter playing her new guitar on Christmas morning.

And he gets like flashbacks to her life or whatever in his head.

A really beautiful video, I think.

One of their best, probably their best in at least like the past five years or so.

Yeah, I'd agree with that.

Some of their more recent holiday ads have been a bit odd.

Like they had that weird like stop motion Santa Claus one.

Yep.

They had some odd ones. And they had that one with the, they were like skating through a city.

But I think it was meant to be promoting like audio sharing for AirPods, right?

But it was, I don't know, they just kind of like moved around on roller skates for a bit and ice skates.

And then they're all happy at the end.

They've had some weird.
