Hey there, hi, they're ho there, and welcome to episode 282 of

connecting with Walt. I am your host and is historian Michael Bowling, and I am joined by my co-host,

executive producer and good friend Craig Williams. Craig, how are you today? I'm doing fantastic. How are you, Michael?

I am doing well. Thank you. If you notice more of a spring to our step, it's because we are

not recording in the middle of the night anymore. We are now recording in the mornings.

It is really different.

Yeah, morning for you, afternoon for me.

But still, yeah, I'm usually, you know, when we record, typically in the past, I was, you know, in the mode where I'd usually be getting ready to start settled down for the night and go to bed.

You'd just be getting off of work,

exhausted from that. So yeah, right now, we're both still fresh. My day has not been ruined yet,

and hopefully it won't be. I just finished my pot of morning tea. We'll talk a little more about

why we made that change towards the end of the show. So, you know, we were talking before the show about, you know, Marty Grau's coming up and all that. Now, with Tiana becoming a bigger presence at the Magic Kingdom, you know, at Disneyland, Mardi Gras has always sort of been a big, bigger deal. You know, we decorate New Orleans Square. In the past, we've had shows based around

Mardi Gras, which is a shame we don't have them anymore. But are they introducing Mardi Gras a little

more into the Magic Kingdom as sort of an introduction to Tiana's Bayou Adventure that's

coming? No, not really.

They did line up this year.

We do celebrate soulfully every single year here in Walt Disney World now, and that lasts the entire month of February.

So, I mean, you can kind of take it that way because, like, this year, you know, the big headlines were testing
