I love weather like this, when the skies aren't clear and gorgeous, when there's clouds everywhere and there's lots of movement and the

wind is howling through the trees.

It's really interesting to draw.

I'd prefer this over a sunny day.

Well that's lucky because the day I met Morven Stewart, otherwise known as Wondering Morven,

it was blowing a hooly.

Morven is an artist, adventurer and all-round outdoor enthusiast.

She spends most of her time exploring Scotland's hills with her sketchpad paints and brushes in her

rucksack, capturing the experiences on paper for her own memories and for others to enjoy.

But it wasn't always the case, as you'll hear later.

I'm Helen Needham and in this edition of Scotland Outdoors, I met up with Morven on the very hill she was

named after in Aberdeenshire, which incidentally she hadn't been up since the age of five. As we began the walk, I asked her to share what she could see in the landscape around us

and how she might go about drawing it.
